Buddha # 11- Enso

Today’s may require more explanation than usual, The nuts and boIts though are that this is made with all recycled pallet wood, finished in linseed oil and the center lacquered, and with a forged mild steel circle epoxied on.

More specifically, I would note that the Buddha is not always represented as a human figure, but may be shown as a throne, a hand, a wheel… and while I have never seen the Japanese Enso used to represent Buddha, I don’t see any reason not to, Also the Enso is always done quickly in ink, but hey, I’m a rebel so mine is steel.
